Curatorial Philosophy
House of Ego is more than a platform it is a movement of healing and awareness through storytelling. It uses art as activism to teach generations the importance of self-love and self-advocacy, grounding the belief that we must first heal ourselves to truly show up for our community.
At its core, House of Ego gives people permission to feel, to express, to question, to explore, and to heal. It is a journey through the layers of the self, examining how the ego can both protect and limit us, and how creative expression can become a pathway toward deeper understanding and transformation.
My philosophy is to continue showing up intentionally in how I create, process how I feel, and how I respond.

Curatorial Philosophy
Express Yourself: The Art of You" was more than a fashion show; we held space for those who are navigating their mental health journey and those who lost their light too soon. We advocated for anyone who has ever felt they did not have a space to express themselves or even have a purpose in this world. You matter!
As a curator, my job is not to reinvent the wheel but to keep the momentum going with advocacy and inspire others to find power in their vulnerability. I asked the designers not to create for aesthetics but to ask themselves, "What does self-expression look and feel like to me? How can I embody self-expression? How can I inspire others to do the same?"
I asked the models to walk with strength, courage, and vulnerability to be themselves and to walk away from what no longer serves their true essence, their authenticity.
The question for you is, how do you express yourself, and most importantly, what does that feel like for you?

Empowering youth requires more than just words it's a call to action, commitment, and continuous support to lay the foundation for their success.
As a curator, I strive to create spaces that encourage vulnerability, foster confidence, and uplift young artists in a world that often overlooks their voices. Showing up, being present, and offering genuine support can make all the difference, especially for developing minds.
Through my collaboration with Quest for Brilliance, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing youth for higher education and successful careers this event highlights the importance of equipping young artists with the resources, opportunities, and encouragement they need to thrive.
It Takes a Village is more than an exhibition; it is a call to action. By coming together as a community, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where young artists feel supported not only by their loved ones but by an entire network that believes in their potential.
Through our efforts, we successfully raised funds for Quest for Brilliance, directly contributing to opportunities for artists to showcase their work both nationally and internationally.

Curatorial Philosophy
Successfully curated and executed the HER-Artistry Art Exhibition, celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Black women's artistry. Partnered with FGiii Fine Art Productions, the Celebrating Life Foundation, and Creative Visions to secure funding and sponsorship.
The event raised enough money for the Celebrating Life Foundation to provide food for those in need during the holidays, demonstrating the power of art to drive community impact.
My mission to inspire healing and awareness through storytelling gave me the opportunity to amplify the voices of incredible Black women artists, who not only shared their artistry but also their life stories, repurposing strength and finding power in their vulnerability.

Through a blend of paintings, sculptures, and photography, this exhibition celebrates the beauty of artistic vulnerability and the richness of expression across various mediums.
By providing an atmosphere where creativity is supported with complimentary food, drinks, and music, I aim to cultivate an experience that highlights both the artists and the community, fostering connection, dialogue, and appreciation for the transformative power of art.
